Why in the US do we have Mexican food but not Canadian food?

Where do they sell poutine, butter tarts, Canadian cheeses, Newfie Screech, salmon sandwiches, reindeer, Bison burgers, saskatoons, and "Orange Crush, not FANTA!?"

Where in the US can I get some Canadian food? Why in the US do we have Mexican food but not Canadian food?
When I lived in England, I developed an answer to this question, and here it is: cold-climate foods just aren't as popular right now as warm climate foods. And now that people have the option of choosing from a wider range of imported foods and ingredients, it's bye-bye pork pies and hello masala; farewell brussels sprouts and welcome tomatoes and cukes. Why in the US do we have Mexican food but not Canadian food?
well there has to be a demand..

Consumers must request thoes rather strange food you mention..

as for the special meat,,, Raindeer %26amp; Bison,, there may be state laws to restrict....
Definitely in Florida...where most Canuks spend their Winters! Why in the US do we have Mexican food but not Canadian food?
You mean Canada isn't in the US?

Bison burgers are becoming more common, and you used to be able to find orange crush, but i haven't seen it in a few years. I'm sure you could find a salmon sandwich somewhere, or make it yourself.

But to really answer yr quest, Canada, like the US, doesn't have a clearly defined national cuisine like Mexico does. Both countries are a hodgepodge of many different cultures, and the food reflects that.
We have orange crush here in The Great State of Texas!

I think it might have some thing to do with the Canadians not wanting to help the United States of America at one time.

Maybe because in certain parts of the U.S.A. we can get Bison Burgers, Salmon and Reindeer only made American style.

You know who cares where it comes from...As long as it taste good, It's a winner!!!Why in the US do we have Mexican food but not Canadian food?
Some of the food is not as available in the US as it is in Canada. Like reindeer and bison. Markets need to be created in the US to create a demand for these foods %26amp; then we would see them more. I would love to try some.
Canadian bacon on Egg McMuffins and on other dishes.
Most of the Canadian food is very similar to American food and visa verse.

But

I must admit the above listed food are difficult to find in USA, even in any big city but you can try yellow pages and Internet and call them to see if they have those dishes.

Canadian Cheeses are available in most speciality food store, look them up in the telephone directory.

Some Indian and Asian stores may have Orange Crush.

Reindeer and Bison may be available in cans. If you know the brands then go to Internet and ask the manufacturer to see if they give you a mail order address. E- bay may have some of it.
because no one likes canadian food! mexican food taste good! canadians eats ****!
