Whats the difference between Mexican food and Spanish food?

Mexican food is VERY spicy; Green Peppers, Tortillas, spices, beans, Salsas, etc are very common.
Spanish food is more mediterranean. Olive oil, seafood, garlic, etc are very common. and the food is not spicy.

Remember that Mexican Food is from Mexico and Spanish food is from Spain.

It seems like some people think that Spanish food is from all of the hispanic countries but it is not. Its from SPAIN.
