Love,

I was in the same boat several years ago after relocating to Seattle for a year after 10 years in Texas.

Jalisco's in downtown Kirkland has some very good dishes. Try the chicken mole enchiladas or the carne asada.

For what it's worth, I eat out alot and I love good food. I was never able to locate any of the kind of Mexican food that I missed the most (Fajitas). I had to come back to Texas for that. (which I did.)

Good luck

Kevin

ps. what they lack in Mexican food, they make up for with the fresh blackberries all over in the early summer and in seafood. Try some freshly grilled steelhead when it comes into season in about 2 months. Imagine the most delicious, mild tasting, tender and flaky salmon you could dream of. That's what it tastes like.Good mexican food and margaritas in Seattle area?
We are from Denver and have been looking for decent mexican food for five years. So far, this is best place we have found.Good mexican food and margaritas in Seattle area?
try citysearch.com they tell you price, parking, romantic and good for kids or not. They also have night club and bars, shopping, hotels and events in the city you are looking for.Good mexican food and margaritas in Seattle area?
Love Muff,

No such thing. Texas is your very best bet for Mexican.

Seattle is known for great coffee and amazing asian food.
I agree, it's next to impossible to find decent Mexican in the NW. I came here from Dallas and used to frequent El Taxco down there. But, I was also going to suggest Jalisco in downtown Kirkland. It's good, I really like the mole although it's a bit sweet. Good luck! Please let me know if you find a good one!
