What are some differences between Tex Mex and real Mexican food?

i can't tell the difference, haha. What are some differences between Tex Mex and real Mexican food?
Tex Mex is bland and normally uses ground beef or chicken in everything. I've never had a dish in Mexico with ground beef in it.

Real Mexican food is great. They know how to cook seafood with a little extra pizazz to it, homemade tortillas are the best, pork chops are cooked in various ways, papaya and guava for breakfast with a wedge of lime to squirt on top of the fruit, anything which can be eaten in a tortilla is eaten with a tortilla. Beans, rice, barbacoa, fried potatoes, chilied pork roast, etc...

Tex Mex uses canned sauces, where as with real Mexican food, the sauces are homemade (since they're really not that difficult to make). What are some differences between Tex Mex and real Mexican food?
I think that the tex-mex type is more meat based. A lot of authentic mexican food doesn't contain much meat. What are some differences between Tex Mex and real Mexican food?
