Is there authentic mexican food in England?I'm laughing at the last answer...even if it was RACIST! I am a native U.S. NEW MEXICAN (not a Mexican) and I think it would be wonderful to open a Mexican restaurant in the UK. I would love to see fresh tortillas ...nothing compares! There are many things about Authentic Mexican cuisine that I don't like...mostly the fatty pork and too much red chile. Mole sauce is definitely over rated. And I hate Asadero cheese! So, I guess I like the American Tex-Mex better. I would be very curious to taste what the English consider Mexican! If anyone out there would like recipes I would be happy to oblige.....
I travel all over the UK, and I've been to many Mexican restaurants. So far they've all been a copy of the USA Mexican restaurants, where they serve, more often than not, dishes for the USA palate and not traditional Mexican cuisine. Is there authentic mexican food in England?
Not that I know of. Ive lived their all my life and only seen Spanish.
No............ I think their tunnels only got about half way under the Atlantic at the moment...............
