When your in the grocery store what is the difference between the coffee and pop that is in the Mexican food ?

Ive often wondered why they keep pop and coffee in the mexican food isle at the grocerie store. Is it different from what is in the coffee isle or soda isle? When your in the grocery store what is the difference between the coffee and pop that is in the Mexican food ?
I had some Mexican coffee once.....WOW!!!! Great flavor, strong roast....and enough caffeine to keep Chicago lit up, I think! In our area (east coast US), the "ethnic foods sections" have a lot of exotic soda flavors---just doesn't seem like us whitebread Anglo types really appreciate guava, pineapple, and coconut flavored sodapops. Don't know about the colas, but the Jamaican ginger ales definitely have a lot more kick and attitude than Canada Dry.

Try them and see!
