What is the name of this Mexican food dish?

I went to a party Saturday night and there was a Mexican dish made with a kind of pasta in a thin, tomato-like sauce. I think they called it Fidelio, but I'm obviuously wrong because I can't find it anywhere on the web. Can anyone tell me what the name of this dish is, it was great! What is the name of this Mexican food dish?

Look in the grocery aisle with the pasta. This product usually comes in a yellow box, and if very easy to make. Sometimes it is called Fideo. End product depends on if it is made with water or broth, and additives like onion, veggies, and spices. Talk to the hostess of the party and find out how she made hers.
