Yes, besides your smaller Mexican restaurants, like La Casita in Daikonyama, there's also El Torito Mexican food chain restaurants in Japan.

Take a look at the site and menu here:

I usually go to the El Torito in Ikebukuro.

Check out La Casita here:

And this is as close to real Mexican food that I've found here in Japan. Even napolitos!

I love Mexican food a lot! ;)

Blue Moon, Mexican food is not social junk food. Mexican food is one of the greatest thing in this planet. Just like I love japanese food, it is not as big as the variety of foods we have in Mexico. After all, we were the ones to have invented Chocolate! The food of the gods :)

Yes, all cultures have there junk foods, but just did not like the way you phrase your respond. Is there good Mexican food available in Japan?
El Torito is kind of Tex-Mex family typed chain restaurant available at Nishi-Kasai, .Ikebukuro-Sunshine bldg and Shinjuku Odakyu Southern tower in Tokyo. I don't know how's your taste good but the price is quite reasonable there although you need to understand all foreign food are always well enough modified to meet the local tongues.

Taco Bell failed its business in Japanese market long time ago and it seems that ordinary Japanese mostly don't like Mexican food as it is too monotonous for them.

But if you don't mind to pay much money in late midnight diner, at Roppongi, Shinjuku, Azabu, Akasaka there are tons of Mex food restaurants over there you have to pay a lot more than you expect for such social junk foods.
