I'm looking for real Mexican food--no nacho cheese on the top of everything, no ground beef. No Taco Bell.Is there any great Mexican food in Baltimore?
Nacho Mama's in Canton is pretty good. Its definitely Americanized, but its no Taco Bell. They've got all kinds of things like Crab Nachos (only in Baltimore would you find this combo). Their Tacos are great, with marinaded/pulled beef instead of nasty ground beef like you'd make at home. They've got a ton of quesadillas but some are bastardized American ideas (like barbecue chicken.) But if you sort through the menu you can find good things, and its cheap!
There used to be a few other good places but alot of them have closed. Honestly the best Mexican food I've ever had was 2 miles from the border in McAllen, TX. Never actually been to Mexico but I'm sure thats the place to get the best.Is there any great Mexican food in Baltimore?
For my two cents there is no good Mexican food outside of New Mexico. LOL.
