Is it safe to eat Mexican food? **advice please**?

from a small local non chain mexican fast food place?

there's this place by where I live

it's called like "guacamole burger # 6 mexican food" and it's really small but I really want mexican food and it smells good.

IMO if it looks good and smells good and is popular (ie you've seen other people, anyone, eating their) then it is fine. Popularity basically equals good. Esp if there are Indians in the Curry house, or in your case, Mexicans eat there.



If it is dead empty, i would avoid, unless its new, or i am REALLY hungry.



But if it smells good, whats the worst? A few days off work?

Ingredients

2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 Tbsp salt

1 Tbsp pepper

5 lbs lean ground beef

8 onions, sliced

8 tomatoes

6 California Avocados, seeded, peeled and mashed

Lettuce leaves as needed

24 sesame burger buns

Method

Combine Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and ground beef. Scale into 5 oz portions. Shape into patties. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.



Broil, grill, or pan fry to desired doneness. Serve on bun with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onion. Place approximately 2 oz of California mashed avocado mixture on top and serve.

Some of the best Mexican food I ever ate was from a small hole in the wall place just like you are describing...
if there is always alot of customers chances are the food are fresh and u should be safe. but the real question is, is any food safe to eat when not cooked properly

Just because a restaurant is small, doesn't automatically mean they don't use quality ingredients, or prepare their food professionally. If you're worried about getting food poisoning, try ordering something that doesn't require much cooking, or not at all, such as chips %26amp; salsa, or a cheese quesadilla.
