Why do football fans eat Mexican food while watching the Super Bowl?

Has anyone noticed this besides me? Mexican food has been served at every single Super Bowl party I've ever been to. The day before the game, everyone goes to the supermarket and buys taco shells, salsa, nachos, and Mexican cheese. The papers are full of recipes for guacomole and chili, and Taco Bell's orders are almost exclusively to go. Why is this? Why do football fans eat Mexican food while watching the Super Bowl?
cuz you can eat it in your hands and not have to take your eye off the gameWhy do football fans eat Mexican food while watching the Super Bowl?
LOL

that is so true...

People like to eat hips and cheese during games for some reason...Maybe to have action on their eyes and mouth :)
Because they make good finger foods.Personally, i don't go for Mexican. Why do football fans eat Mexican food while watching the Super Bowl?
Because it is good food. There is nothing wrong with it. I have Mexican food when I watch the Super Bowl. Football fans seem to like it. I thought I was the only one. Mexican food is a favorite among many fans and I am no different.

3 Ingredients to a successful superbowl party.....

1) BEER

2) GREAT FOOD

3) Last but not least BEER and GREAT FOOD = G A S!!!!!!!!!
Its finger food and tastes really good with beer
We don't eat Mexican, we eat chilli and wings. Then wash it down with either beer, beer, or beer.
I do not eat Mexican food . I always eat Pizza and Hot wings . After that I eat things like meat and crackers, chips.About the closest thing that I eat that may be considered Mexican would have to be chips and salsa. There is nothing wrong with eating Mexican food while watching the Super Bowl other than Heart burn and running to the bathroom alot. I'd rather not due that considering I love watching the Super Bowl....
