I tried a different brand burrito seasoning packet yesterday that was so loaded with cinnamon it should have been sprinkled on toast! I LIKE cinnamon but it is a sweet spice and DOES NOT BELONG in meat and bean dishes. Did this stupid trend start with those hipster R-Tards in cal-eee-for-nee-aah? I am SERIOUS about this; who do we blame?Whose dumb idea was it to start adding Cinnamon to Mexican food?
well cinnamon is found on just about every table in mexico, but in a burrito, OMG, that is too funnyWhose dumb idea was it to start adding Cinnamon to Mexican food?
It grows there and is used not only in food but a medicinal potent, a skin astringent and the oil is also used for dental pain, the Aztec used it for 1000's of years, now it is different from Vietnamese and Ceylon cinnamon, they also use the cousin the larger cassia bark to in Mexican and most Hispanic cooking, like chili's it can be left out if your not fond of it.
you ll be amazed on the true mexican dishes from mexico.cocoa is there source like salt or sugar if blended well you have unique flavor that it s has driven other s to deliver there own dish to uniqueness on there dishes.but it s true you can make a dish way out ,silly.some dishes are for some one with acquired taste.Whose dumb idea was it to start adding Cinnamon to Mexican food?
MEXICANS! And yes, cinnamon DOES go very well with meat dishes, if used correctly. If something is coming from a packet then don't expect it to be great. Make your own burrito seasoning for better results.
MEXICANS ????!!!!!Whose dumb idea was it to start adding Cinnamon to Mexican food?
