How is real Mexican food different from what's sold in the U.S.?

Ok, I'm quite aware that Taco Bell and places like that aren't real Mexican food, but what's the everyday food in Mexico like?How is real Mexican food different from what's sold in the U.S.?
It's healthier and tastes better. Fresh Mexican food is REALLY good. It's not all greasy and nasty like some fast food Mexican restaurants in the U.S.A.How is real Mexican food different from what's sold in the U.S.?
Food in Mexico includes a lot of the same stuff served in Mexican restaurants in the US (even Taco Bell, although it is obviously a poor attempt at reproducing it).



It's pretty basic - most areas in Mexico are fairly poor, so a lot of beans and rice.



Someone joked one time that there are only five ingredients in all Mexican food, but they can arrange them fifty different ways.

More rich in seasonings %26amp; more home-made. Almost everything is natural, and not processed.
Most of the taco shells are white instead of yellow corn, they use salanchro and pico de gallo instead of hot sauce, and the beef is ground up finer.How is real Mexican food different from what's sold in the U.S.?
I've eaten a taco from Mexico.

The beef tastes different than beef used at Taco Bell.
Real Mexican food will give you the runs. That's how it's different.
