My baby is 3 weeks old, and I'm wondering if I can eat Mexican Food while breastfeeding? Would it really hurt anything? I mean cause hispanics do eat Mexican Food while their pregnant, so what does it do?Can I eat Mexican Food while breastfeeding?
All babies are different. Some babies are more sensitive. I ate like normal while breastfeeding and never had a single problem out of my baby, but some moms can eat something and it bother their baby's tummy. Eat it and find out. I wouldn't eat real spicy foods though, but Mexican food is fine. Enjoy! Can I eat Mexican Food while breastfeeding?
as long as you're avoiding alcohol, drugs, and the medication no-nos, you can eat just about anything as long as you're eating a fairly healthy diet. Spicy and "gassy" foods generally have little effect on the overall quality of your milk. Anything you eat will have an effect on the taste of your milk, but babies generally don't mind.
If your baby isn't very gassy to begin with then it is probably okay. Just try it, and see what happens tomorrow. If your baby starts acting like they have gas then try giving them some gas drops and avoid Mexican food if you can from now on.Can I eat Mexican Food while breastfeeding?
If your baby does not seem overly sensitive to stuff you eat, like broccoli or cabbage, there is no reason to avoid it. I know i don't, lol, i could never live without spicy foods.
It's possible for babies to react to certain foods their mom eats, but not terribly likely. I've never had anything I ate cause any problems with either of my two children. Can I eat Mexican Food while breastfeeding?
You can always try. if there is problem then won't have again.
Of course, unless your baby has a bad reaction
yes as long as it's not too spicy
