What's a good cocktail to go with Mexican food?

My friend asked me to make a cocktail for her husband's surprise birthday party, and she is having it catered with Mexican food. I'm looking for something a little more interesting than margaritas. Also, I think it might be fun to do something seasonal. Any good suggestions or recipes, seasonal or not? Thank you! What's a good cocktail to go with Mexican food?

How about a chelada / michelada.

It's like the Mexican bloody mary in which you mix beer + Clamato bloody mary mix.

I personally like it best with Bohemia, Negra Modelo or Indio but it goes well with lager (especially Pacifico or Dos Equis) as well. What's a good cocktail to go with Mexican food?
