Is the chalupa real mexican food or just invented by Taco Bell?Is a chalupa real mexican food?
yes it is, though not quite the same as Taco Bell's.
"Chalupas sold at Taco Bell restaurants, though widely familiar, more closely resemble American-style tacos."Is a chalupa real mexican food?
yeah, a real mexican chalupa is just a buttered tortilla, with melted cheese, rolled up and then baked or fried. Is a chalupa real mexican food?
It doesn't really answer your question, but I must say...Taco Bell IS NOT Mexican food. It doesn't taste anything like Mexican food. It is an Americanized food that resembles what Mexicans eat.
