Besides So. California, what other US cities have good Mexican food?

I love the taco shops all over my city. What other cities boast such fine Mexican food in the US?Besides So. California, what other US cities have good Mexican food?
Head south of Corpus Christi Texas. The Rio Grande Valley is pretty much the Mecca for awesome Mexican food.

Houston has several awesome places to eat, but a few terrible ones. Be careful.

El Paso has its share of Awesome Mexican Food. So does San Antonio.

Nothing beats the Rio Grande Valley when it comes to Meixcan Food though. Nothing.

No question, you'll find more Mexican food options in the south, due to it's proximity to Mexico. But the south no longer can claim sole bragging rights for good Mexican chow. Due to migration and a genuine desire for good Mexican food, you can find great options in any major city, and some not so major.

In Columbus, we have a large Mexican population. Good restaurants can be found all around town, Mexican food trucks with tortas and tacos are abundant, and Mexican influences in local restaurants are apparent.

Starliner Diner has killer chili rellenos. Fiesta Jalisco has incredible food. Hoover Bar and Grille has a great fish taco. Authentic stores with queso fresco, dried chilis and Sol beer are abundant, to supply the local population.

Guy Fieri spotlighted the Red Iguana in SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH! They produce several moles from scratch. How exciting.

And celebrity chefs like Bobby Flay and Rick Bayless are making these delectables available at their restaurants, and on tv as they share their recipes.
I am orignally from Arizona and I have not found Mexican food ANYWHERE in CA as good as AZ (especially Tucson). I have family in SoCal and I live in NorCal and I truly miss authentic Mexican food. It is all different depending on the region. I guess to each is their own but nothing compares for me! For good food in Tucson you have to try La Parilla Suiza and Las Margaritas!Besides So. - Ricky's

- Chelino's

Chelino's is my personal favorite... I have the link below if you want to browse through their site.Besides So. California, what other US cities have good Mexican food?
Basically anywhere in southern TX and NM. Las Cruces, NM and Houston, TX are probably the best in my opinion.
El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM have awesome, super spicy Mexican food. The further away from the border you go the weaker the food gets.
TX has great Mexican food! You can get some really good stuff in Dallas and Houston, but out of the bigger cities I've heard that San Antonio has the best.
Minneapolis, MN, Dominguez Family Restaurant. Locally owned by a Mexican Family
Probably anywhere in southern texas, all over new mexico, actually probably anywhere that is relatively close to Mexico.
pretty much any city has good mexican food.
Texas
North Carolina, my kitchen
If you already live in SoCal why not just go to Mexico?
